Otherwise the queue needs to re-create a connection every time which can take a relatively long time.

Merges in the development branch created by Lorenzo and presently used by the cube project. It introduces the r2d2 pool manager to manage its connection to redis. It also a adjusts how the expiry time is set on a running job.
In addition to this, since the master and the development branch is diverged, the master branch has been merged into the dev branch, introducing it's updated error library.
