An open-source Linux utility for evaluating a system's real-time performance and RMP EtherCAT suitability
Cyclictest accurately and repeatedly measures the difference between a thread's intended wake-up time and the time at which it actually wakes up in order to provide statistics about the system's latencies. It can measure latencies in real-time systems caused by the hardware, the firmware, and the operating system.
Analyzes performance interference on the BeagleBone AI-64. This project quantifies: 1) The impact of system stress (stress-ng) on AI inference time, and 2) The effect of AI accelerator workloads on real-time task latency (cyclictest). Includes experiment scripts, analysis code, and tests using CPU isolation.
