I have read and understood the open letter of support and wish to remove my signature.

Like many others, I signed this letter with good intentions, based on good-faith investigations of other community members. However, I now believe I should have abstained until a legal process or suitably-formal alternative had established the facts, one way or the other, and defined an appropriately-measured response, if any. I apologize to Jon for signing the letter.

Cancellations put a huge chill on the community, and the last few weeks have shown there can be a route to healing.
