This is a repository for launching your own node to support MFElements project.

Prerequisites:

• Docker
• docker-compose
• Docker is added to autostart as a service
• Public domain to access node from outside

Supported architectures:

• x86
• x86_64
• armv7
• armv8
• ppc64le
• s390x

Prepare the node:

1. Clone repository to your services directory and enter it
2. Change the owner of data/daemon directory

   $ chown 405:0 data/daemon

Add to autostart

Systemd

Create file named /etc/systemd/system/mfc-node.service with following contents (change /path/to/services to your services folder):

Description=MFCoin node
Requires=docker.service
After=docker.service

[Service]
Restart=always
WorkingDirectory=/path/to/services/mfc-node
ExecStart=/usr/local/bin/docker-compose up
ExecStop=/usr/local/bin/docker-compose down

[Install]
WantedBy=multi-user.target

Now enable the service:

# systemctl enable --now mfc-node

OpenRC

Create the file /etc/init.d/dockerservice with next contents (change /path/to/services to your services folder):

Create some symbolic link /etc/init.d/dockerservice.mfc-node pointing to /etc/init.d/dockerservice:

Finally, start the service and add it to autostart:

# rc-update add dockerservice.mfc-node
