Thank you for choosing to contribute! There are several ways you can contribute to a Kochavalabs repository.
If you run into any bugs or problems with one of our projects please use Github to open an issue.
But before submitting an issue please make sure you have done all of the following:
- Check that you are using the latest released version to ensure the bug has not already been fixed.
- Check existing issues (open and closed) to make sure it has not already been reported.
- Fill in the associated issue template with as much detail as possible to help us understand the problem.
You may also use Github Issues to request a feature or enhancement to one of our existing projects.
Similar to reporting an issue make sure you first do the following:
- Check that you are using the latest released version to ensure that the feature has not already been added.
- Check existing issues (open and closed) to make sure this feature has not already been requested.
- Fill in the associated feature request issue template with as much detail as possible to help us understand the request.
You may submit changes to open Kochavalabs repositories through Pull Requests.
The following steps can be followed to submit a pull request:
- Make a fork of the repository you wish to contribute to
- Checkout a new topic branch off of develop, example:
git checkout -b my-contribution develop - Commit changes with descriptive messages
- Push commits to your fork
- Open a Pull Request to the original Kochavalabs repository
- Fill in as much detail in the pull request template as possible, including referencing issues, to help with the review
Once a Pull Request has been submitted it may take some time to be fully reviewed. Feedback may be added to the Pull Request through comments and if need be the Pull Request may be closed without being merged. Please be aware that not all Pull Requests will be accepted.
