About NJCIC

The New Jersey Civic Information Consortium is the first publicly funded nonprofit in the United States dedicated to supporting local journalism and civic information needs. Established in 2018 through bipartisan legislation, the Consortium has invested $12+ million in local news and civic media projects since 2021.
