It is pretty typical of IDEs to have one project per window, so I don't think going that route would be something particularly disruptive to users, though I also do like having multiple per window. Tough call. |

Fixes #1507
This PR only fixes the linked issue but raises some related questions relating to the purpose and use of second windows, in particular which actions (if any) should be disallowed in second windows? Current opinion is that everything should be allowed (until a problem can be demonstrated).
