now also bumps node version from 18 and 20 to 22 since node 18 is deprecated, and node 22 seems to function fine |

Update dependencies for rust and pnpm.
Also goes through and implements the suggested fixes that cargo has when compiling.
This has been tested somewhat, so I am reasonably sure it works properly. It can at least compile and run in docker, and all the basic functions I have tried work in both frontend and backend.
