I'm proposing the addition of the model.proto from https://github.com/modzy/chassis to the OMI repo. This protofile is, in a real sense, the most specific definition of the current OMI specification that we have today. Any model container that adopts this proto could be said to be OMI-compliant. The only question I don't fully know the answer to is how this does or does not it into OMI's intention to support other serving platforms, such as kserve, that do not use this proto.
