Pull Request Template: Add a Conference or Workshop

Thank you for contributing! Most PRs are to add a new conference or workshop. The following are to help ensure you've added everything correctly:

Conference/Workshop Details

  • Name, Location, Date(s), Website URL and Status are required
  • X / Twitter is Optional
  • Location should be City + Country or Online
  • Status can include information about registration, pricing, calls for proposals and can include links to all the above.

Checklist

  • I have added the conference/workshop to the correct YAML file (_data/current.yml or _data/past.yml)
  • The entry includes name, location, date(s), url and accurate status
  • The entry is in chronological order (soonest to furtherest away)
  • If there are any special characters in the name field (: or ; or '), the name must be in quotes (")
  • I have checked for duplicates to avoid listing the same event twice
  • Build runs successfully

@salsolatragus we only list conferences and workshops, not talks per se. Let me think about this.

I see your point. We're conducting regular online talks with speakers from different industry domains. This time it's about testing wind turbines at Vestas. In the past we had guests, for example, from Dolby, Allianz, SEW, Munich RE talking about how they test their software.

Full disclosure: These are our customers speaking here. They talk partly about the work they've done with us. However, it is important to us that these events are about exchanging experience, not about promoting us. Oftentimes, the same talks get accepted (and well received) at testing conferences. Unfortunately, this is going to be the first talk like this we have in English, so I cannot give you examples of these talks, unless you happen to understand German 😅

I would highly appreciate you helping us to promote these efforts. But I do see that it's borderline for your list, so I'll, of course, accept your decision.
