I didn’t always have direction. Early on, my priorities were completely off and I had to rebuild my discipline from scratch. Over time, I found mentors who believed in me when I didn’t believe in myself — and that changed everything.
One of the biggest inspirations in my life has been Shelby Cullum Davis and his philosophy of “Learn, Earn, and Return.” Shelby’s generosity changed my life — he funded my entire college education in the United States, and the opportunity to attend UWC was a dream in itself. Those experiences gave me something I always wanted most: freedom — the chance to build, learn, and become who I am.
Since my first Google Summer of Code internship, I’ve supported open source and I’m committed to long-term open-source sustainability, mentorship, and helping others find their path.
The lesson I hold closest: you don’t do hard things alone. Build a crew — people who tell you the truth, keep you grounded, and help you stay consistent.
I try to move through life with a simple rule: be humble, be kind, and spread positivity.
I’m here to build great software, contribute to open source, and keep moving forward.
North star: build, learn, earn, and return — at massive scale.
