What's done:

• Complete module scaffolding in applied-hash/commitments/:
  • .gitignore, Makefile, abstract.tex, preamble.tex
  • slides.tex and notes.tex entry points
  • Basic contents.tex structure (49 lines)
  • Figure directory with Makefile

What's missing (from PR description):

• Add contents on commitments (the actual educational content)
• Add link to recording of lecture

Files overview:

• 8 files added, 327 lines total
• Most lines are boilerplate/scaffolding
• contents.tex is a stub awaiting actual commitment scheme content

Recommendation:

The infrastructure is ready. This PR needs the actual cryptographic content on commitment schemes (hiding, binding properties, constructions, applications). Consider whether this is still a priority for the course curriculum.
