I think this project brings more confusion than benefit.

If the upstream docs are missing something, then please talk to the upstream.

According to this page, the guide is eight years old: https://python-packaging.readthedocs.io/en/latest/about.html

Unfortunately python-packaging is the first match if you google for "setup.py dependencies".

Instead of more documentation, we need a clear central place for the python packaging docs.
