Simpify track up to 5NM from the airport of departure, arrival with a different resolution (less simplification)

Currently the track is simplified the same on all points of the route - this means that with places with a lot of maneuvering - like departure and arrival patterns entries we loose a lot of track points due to simplification. Shall we split the track into 3 portions - departure, en-route, arrival and simplify them differently?
