Germen umlaut ü not working

the german letter 'ü' produces a '['.
this might be connected to https://github.com/LightTable/LightTable/issues/620 but i do not know

Does this happen when editing any file, or only when editing a tex file?

I was just brosing the issues and notived this one. Rememer that when using a qwertz keyboard (CH_fr) I have a similar issue: the quote (') is transformed in [. Seems to happen only in tex file (tested over the faulty machine on ssh but will make a better test later since this was too slow)

As mentioned in my previous post I am now able to confirm that this happens on .tex files only. Furthermore, I uninstalled litex and then the problem disappears. Sorry but it seems this is strongly linked with litex :-(

Commenting out the following lines in $HOME/.config/LightTable/plugins/LiTeX/litex.keymap works for me
