Slurm-web V4.0.0 with Slurm 23.11.4 slurmrestd

My backend slurm uses 23.11.4. It all works using CLI. I thought I would add a new login node with slurmrestd and slurm-web. The only one compatible on ubuntu24.04 was slurmweb-v4.0 and that too using source. I did all of that and I get a console, but it keeps failing the connectivity with slurmrestd.

I can connect using curl and appropriate jwt key and get a response on the backend cluster from the login node, but within the slurm-web context that fails? Why?

Did you check the logs of the agent? There should be more relevant error messages there.
