Using "fastkci" and "rcit" tests in FCI algorithm

Hi causal-learn developers,

Thanks for creating such an useful and comprehensive open-source library. I just tried using the fastkci and rcit tests in the fci() function, but got an error "raise TypeError(f"CI test class must inherit from CIT_Base: {test_class.name}")". Both tests indeed inherit from CIT_Base, but are not working for fci(). They work for pc() though.

Would it be possible to look into this issue? Thanks!

Just to follow-up:

The PC algorithm uses skeleton_discovery() to estimate the skeleton, while FCI uses fas() instead. Would the issue lie within the implementation of the latter skeleton estimation methods?

Difference between the two functions:

• skeleton_discovery() directly sets the specified CI test as the designated CI test for the graph object
• fas() first checks if the CI test is an instance of the class CIT_Base, where it returns "False" for rcit and fastkci
