_html keys still rendered as non-html (and no wysiwyg-editor showing up) during frontend edit

Hey,

the frontend-edit feature is pretty nice, but has one big drawback: it seems that the edited text is still parsed as text - even then the placeholder is ending with _html.

A popup, which opens a full wysiwyg-editor for the desired _html would be much better here? Any thoughts?

Sure, that'd be awesome. There is only one "but" - we try to get away from jquery and any additional dependencies, so please have this in mind.

So even the currently included JqueryTE is not allowed?
Not sure if a full featured wysiwhyg-editor is possible without jquery or other dependencies?
Wouldn't like to write my own editor :P

Would you accept a switch f.e. which only loads JqueryTE if it's defined/available? If not, it just shows the current edit span?
With this solution, both requirements would be more or less accomplished?

Or maybe a namespaced callback, which has to be defined before the assets are included?
So any desired editor could be used.. 👍
