Request: Firmware flash/update functionality

Is the firmware update protocol much different from the control? The binaries are available and maintained by Paliverse here and linux is missing a robust way of firmware update.

I think that's on Sony maybe I am talking bs but after some months without logging into windows and steam version of it it constantly annoyed me with Firmware updates and Sony only has exes I mean windows only exes so even a wine version of it couldn't be used and Paliverse ignores the Linux even a good dev person volunteered himself for making a port for fedora and Ubuntu in his discord didn't replied him just let the guy speaking with himself.
