Support for cocoa for transitioning phase

Our current plugin use: https://github.com/mrackwitz/Version
And most of our users use cocoa, since SPM is the future of swift we would like to migrate to a better maintained lib, but we are stuck as our main user base use still cocoa.
If one version would be published to cocoa this will help to migrate to it for both platform and then stop using old lib.
could this be an option ?
