Description
SummarizedExperiment is a data type that can store omics-data plus metadata and also additional column data.
For our purpose, the column data could contain information about the samples such as group, age, etc. In this case we would not need to derive the group information from the column names and could handle multiple grouping variables, e.g. for annotation of heatmaps or colouring of PCA.
This could be fully integrated into ProtStatsWF.
