How to mimic Fish Completion in eshell via cape-history?

Hey!

Essentially, I'm curious if it's possible to replicate https://github.com/dieggsy/esh-autosuggest with only cape? I can use cape-history but that shows all the candidates vs just showing 1 that matches the most (or most recent if multiple matches).

Is there a way to limit the number of candidates to just 1?

I came to the realization that setting corfu-count to 1 solves this. But also, I think I prefer showing at least a few candidates.
