HDF5 2 Support

Huge release for HDF5 upstream here with lots of excellent goodies.

This is a big release. To support 2.0.0 one will have to go through all the breaking changes and handle these. This could be a big effort, any help is much appreciated!

Indeed, it seems like a big effort. I'll take a stab at starting, at the very least.

Did you already try to compile against the new version?

I'm about to start trying now rebuilding on 2.0. The breaking changes don't seem bad
