Linux Mint: Warpinator should warn when firewall isn't configured for it #233

Distribution

Mint 22.1 Cinnamon

Package version

1.8.8

Frequency

Always

Bug description

On Linux Mint, I expected Warpinator to just work, especially since it comes pre-installed. Turns out I had to click Preferences -> Connection -> Update firewall rules before the first time I use it. There was no obvious guidance on this within Warpinator.

If Warpinator can detect whether the firewall is blocking it, it should make a very obvious warning and make the "Update firewall rules" button clickable from within that warning.

If Warpinator can't detect this, it should remember whether the user clicked that button (within Warpinator) and display the same kind of warning.

In either case, there would be a "dismiss" and/or a "don't show this again" option.

Steps to reproduce

Try to use Warpinator on a brand new installation of Linux Mint

Expected behavior

Either firewall is configured for Warpinator by default, or Warpinator makes it obvious to the user that the firewall will block it.
