Is get_token.rs example still supposed to work?

I have code which is based on the get_token.rs example. I want to get an access token to be able to use Spotify's API to query my content etc. This used to work until earlier today. Now when I'm running the example I'm getting the following:

Never mind - I think I'm facing a different issue: 429s using those access tokens. I thought we were using "their" client ID, and that would hopefully not be a problem any more...

Most likely this is related to what has been posted recently in #1562.
