Hello everyone! We are thrilled to open up the Discussions space for Launch.

Launch was born out of a desire for a minimalist, highly structured, and performant application launcher for the Linux desktop. Built with Rust and GTK4, it follows a strict "Tree Architecture" to ensure that as we add new features, the core remains stable, testable, and maintainable.

To provide a "command-center" experience that stays out of your way until you need it. Whether you're launching a quick app, solving a LaTeX math expression, or navigating your filesystem, Launch is designed to be your primary interface for desktop interaction.

We are currently in the early stages and would love your help in the following areas:

• Feature Ideas: Check out our Technical Specs and let us know what's missing.
• Provider Suggestions: What other prefixes would you like to see? (e.g., web search, window switching, etc.)
• Bug Reports: If the "pill" isn't acting right on your distro or compositor, let us know!
• Design Feedback: We aim for a sleek, modern aesthetic. Suggestions for UI/UX improvements are always welcome.
