Current Temp is +100, target temperature is wrong and jumpy

Like others said, current temperature is showing 178F while its actually 78F
Target Temp, shows 15 while the AC shows 78 on display and the AI-home app also shows the correct 78. trying to change the target temp jumps to 61 and the AC display switches to the highest possible (99)

Setting the Unit to C in the app instead of F, makes the current and target temp show properly, however changing the target also jumps to 61 as the minimum value and it reflects wrongly in the AC display.

Can someone help where are these calculations are made in the code?

Also, what happens if we don't block the AC from internet? and how is everyone blocking the internet? checked in my router and I can not change DNS for only one device
