Subject: [PATCH] Not sure what GRP_UserData is; for me it's nothing but
 trouble

I haven't figured out how to trigger this event, a correlation to
the real world, or a reasonable interpretation of the content.

Wrap it in an exception handler so I can capture it without crashing
the rest of my data logger.
