Plugin installation doesn't work at all

Hi, first thanks for this :) it is a really nice improvement regarding server administration!

I installed a clean bukkit setup, added Remote Toolkit and SpaceBukkit from the website and the latest Webinterface from github.

For me the plugin installation doesn't work at all, neither via plugin upload nor via bukget. I searched for the problem in the logs but I didn't find anything helpful.

Are there any further debugging instructions so I can search for the problem myself or is this a general issue?
