Initial configuration walkthrough?

Hi, I've scoured the documentation but am struggling on what a new install setup process looks like. Is that documented anywhere?

Right now, I've got two tools setup with parking / zone positions working and I can manually pick each tool up. I'm having a bit of trouble getting reliable pickups, but that's a Jubliee problem not a KTC problem.

I'm not clear on how the tool offsets work or what they reference.
I see in the config reference it says that the init_offset can only be used once, and then have to be commented out, and that's true in both example repos that were shared. However, I can't find any help on how those offsets should be discovered / referenced/ setup the first time through.
Beyond setting up offsets, is there any other configuration that needs to take place before I consider my 2 tool setup "fully configured"?

I'm very much trying not to ask questions, I just have reached the end of all the code and am still struggling. Thanks for any help.
