release channel missing or too old

Hi,
I tried to use the looksee through the release channel of the oculus applab but got the following message:
"Impossible to join this release channel for the following reason: The release channel build is missing or too old."
Any idea on how to get through this?

I'll try to update the LooksSee Quest VR app. Last time I uploaded a new LookSee version I was not able to find it on the Meta Quest app store. So being able to sign up for the prerelease did not allow me to install the app on a headset. I am on vacation until July 2 so I probably won't be able to upload a new version of LookSee until after I return. Then we can see if Meta prereleases are still impossible to get.

Meta has created nothing but obstacles to distributing LookSee. We are not able to make an official release because Meta won't recognize our lab at UCSF as an "organization", they only handle businesses (with a business license) and personal organization where you have to hand over all your personal information. I've almost given up on Meta and Quest since I can't distribute the app.

If you jump through lots of hoops you can create a Quest developer account and download and install the LookSee .apk distribution from the LookSee web site.

I updated LookSee to version 18 to get around Meta's rule that a prerelease cannot be more than 3 months old. You can probably join the LookSee prerelease channel. Let me know if are able to install it and how you found the prerelease. I was not able to find the prerelease for installation on the headset last time I tried, I assume due to some Meta Quest app store bug. I have not tested LookSee 18 because I am on vacation and don't have a headset with me. But it should be the same as LookSee 17.

Sorry for the delayed answer. I manage to install the app from the pre-release channel, thanks a lot !
