Error while installing from pip

When I do pip install lanms==1.0.2 in linux, I sometimes get the following error: Python version mismatch: module was compiled for version 3.6, while the interpreter is running version 3.7.

What should I change? When I make it locally using make -C lanms it works. My requirement is to add it as a requirement/dependency instead of adding entire source in my repository.

We provided wheels only for Python 3.6 as that was the version we were targeting in our experiments.

Python 3.7 could be easily added, but unfortunately I don't have time for it at the moment. If you'd like to have a try, feel free to submit a pull request and I'll upload the additional wheels to PyPI.

I just changed the python version in Makefile to 3.7 and then built the package and it's working. I just have to keep entire code with my repo. So is that worth a PR or am I supposed to do something else? Sorry I'm new to packaging C++ code for Python/Building Python extensions.

Please have a look at the pull request #1 -- perhaps you might want to finalize it?

I also had problems while trying to install lanms using pip, so I ended up repackaging LANMS. You can install it like this pip install lanms-nova. And here's the Github URL for it: https://github.com/AndranikSargsyan/lanms-nova
