getting almost notifications twice

I am using version 1.0.0 and for some reason I get most of the messages twice... some messages I only get once, but I cannot find a pattern on why I get most twice... any idea where I can look to solve this?

Sorry for the delay on getting to this one!

Are you running your own copy of the bot, or using the one hosted by me? I've been updating various bits of this recently, moving it to new infrastructure etc - are you still getting this issue? If so, could you let me know a timestamp when it next occurs so I can see if I can spot any issues?
