The entire compression was reworked by Pocketpair, they now are nearly fully using a proprietary compression form that epic games purchased (Oodle). We're all looking into how to route through this and decrypting the new save format. This means the GVAS base structure is going to be defunct, and from this point on, old saves(legacy) won't be supported in any way or form, unless developers want to source two dependencies in their work to switch between.
