Comprehensive directions for website maintenance #8
Description
We need to document how the website works. I would appreciate a wiki page, and if the wiki page only consists of a link to the Imaging Platform's internal wiki, that would be fine.
Specific documentation issues:
- How to upload and delete an S3 bucket and how to deploy it to a URL, both manually and programatically.
- How to write CGI (or some alternate) extensions.
- How to test (e.g. how to make sure that our current CentOS RPMs and repo can be used)
- Documentation for files whose purpose isn't related to web browsing (e.g. the Fly pipeline)
